Franck BONNOIS, "Enlumineur de France".

Having been a musician for 10 years, I suffered hearing trauma that forced me to review my life choices. By a combination of circumstances I have come to have a passion for painting medieval books. After two years of training at ISEEM (Angers), in 2017 I obtained my title of illuminator of France, and I decided to get started in order to make it my job.

I focus particularly on the illumination of the 13th century, whether in terms of respect for symbols, drawing, painting or even calligraphy ... but am open to all your ideas concerning other styles, other periods.

My idea is to offer musicians, medievalists, individuals etc ... visuals in the purest medieval tradition, or beautiful painted illuminations for the more ambitious!
